If you are thinking of joining us for Jam Camp (Sep 29 – Oct 1) please register soon. All new registrations after 5:00pm MDT, Sunday Sept 24, 2017 will be waitlisted so that we are able to effectively manage our camp numbers. There is a reasonable likelihood that we will be able to include some of the waitlisted folks in the camp. If we are able to offer you a spot you will be contacted by the FAMI Registrar.

A weekend of musical inspiration, jam sessions and opportunities to perform and socialize with others who share common musical interests. There is NO formal instruction. However there will be lots of facilitated jams, mini workshops and interactive jams for all level of players as well as opportunities to perform on stage. The camp is held at a facility which is situated on the Elbow River and is for ages 12 and up.
Cost: $153.00 ~ (plus online processing fees). Costs include accommodation, meals and use of the camp.

Meals: Due to the rising cost of providing gluten-free meals, FAMI will be instituting a surcharge of $15.00 for those requiring gluten-free meals.
Children between the ages of 12 and 17 must be comfortable enough to jam with adults and be accompanied by a parent, guardian or designated responsible adult who has also registered to attend. Parental release forms may be required. Children under 12 may not attend.
Accommodations are dorm room style bunk beds with foam mattresses. We cannot guarantee private rooms for individuals or couples. Please provide your own sleeping bag/bedding, pillow and towels.
The camp is limited to approximately 120 students so register early. Spots will be allocated on a first come basis (as determined by registration date/time and class size limitations).
To improve your chances of getting accepted into camp, please indicate your first and second choices on the registration form.
There are very few rules but participants should be aware of the following:
- No Guests! Due to limited space and event popularity
- The camp is a drug free environment
- Smoking is limited to the outdoors
- No Pets
- To aid those trying to sleep, late night jamming is restricted to designated sites
- The use of amplifiers is now allowed (new in 2015) but limited to acoustic bass instruments using a FAMI supplied bass amp (See amplifier policy)
Cancellations will be accepted 7 days prior to the event start date with a $25.00 administrative processing fee deducted. Any requests for refunds made after that date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Requests for refunds are to be made to the Registrar.
