Fall Jam CampOct 4 - 6, 2013

A weekend of musical inspiration, jam sessions and opportunities to perform and socialize with others who share common musical interests. There is NO formal instruction. However there will be lots of facilitated jams, mini workshops and interactive jams for all level of players as well as opportunities to perform on stage. The camp is held at a facility which is situated on the Elbow River and is for ages 12 and up.

Cost:     $ 120.00 ~ Costs include accommodation, meals and use of the camp.

Registration: Registration is by mail only and must be accompanied by full payment. Each person must complete a separate Registration Form. Please note that registrations cannot be dropped off or accepted via phone, fax or email.

Important:

Children between the ages of 12 and 17 must be comfortable enough to jam with adults and be accompanied by a parent, guardian or designated responsible adult who has also registered to attend camp.

The camp is limited to 120 students so register early. Spots will be allocated on a first come basis (as determined by postmark date).

Note: Due to the popularity of FAMI camps and limited space, a lottery process may come into effect if camp is oversubscribed. Please see our Lottery Process page for more information.

There are very few rules but participants should be aware of the following:

• No Guests! Due to limited space and camp popularity
• The camp is a drug free environment
• Smoking is limited to the outdoors
• No Pets
• To aid those trying to sleep, late night jamming is restricted to designated sites
• The use of amplifiers is not allowed (See amplifier policy)

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations will be accepted 7 days prior to the start date with a $25.00 administrative processing fee deducted. Any requests for refunds made after that date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Requests for refunds are to be made to the Registrar.
